Beet Terrine

I've been here several times in the past month, and it's always a wonderful experience , but last night I decided to spring for the beet terrine, and it did not disappoint! The presentation is nothing short of stunning - strips of golden and crimson beets, interleaved with thin layers of perfectly sweet and creamy goat cheese, stacked and sliced in such a way to resemble a cross section of striated granite. Served with a delicate salad of frisee, arugula and plump orange wedges, then strewn with pistachios, the plate evolves into a multi-textural, visually striking salad that bursts with flavor. I hope this becomes a permanent menu item - it's my new favorite Orsay dish!

Steak Frites

I really enjoy(frequently) the steak frites-lol Fr for steak and french fries. It is delicious every time. Fries are not protected from husband and teenagers-so beware! Lobster mac and cheese, shrimp and grits, cream brulee...doesn't matter. The food is amazing. Be sure to have a Shirley Temple too.

Trois Foie Mousse

I absolutely love this appetizer. The mousse is so creamy and smooth and the red onion marmalade with toast is the perfect addition to this rich, creamy and satisfying meal. Highly recommend.

Duck Confit Hash

Happened by luck that my husband and I found Orsay while passing through Jacksonville on a Saturday of which they're open for brunch. We sat at the bar as tables were booked and happy we did. Our bartender & server, Mo and her assistant Eldred were such a pleasure to converse with while enjoying our Amazing Food and service... Duck Confit hash, quiche and especially the Trois Foie Mousse. We will be back!

Eden Farms Berkshire Pork Chop

The pork chop was amazing. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was the perfect choice to make this dish my new favorite. My husband switched plates with me because I could not quit eating that delicious pork chop.

Eden Farms Berkshire Pork Chop

Hands down the Eden Farms Berkshire Pork Chop is one of my all time favorites on the menu. If I am not sure what I am hungry, for this entree hits the mark every time. The pork chop is thick, tender, and juicy richly accented by the creamy mustard sauce. The surprise for me is the perfect pairing of cabbage and apples resting under the chop, and fingering potatoes round the dish out. Delicious!
